SHAUN OF THE COPS
Posle duže od godinu dana polumrtvog linka na IMDBu, "Shaun of the Dead" alumni - reditelj Edgar Wright i glumac Simon Pegg dobili su zeleno svetlo za snimanje britanskog pandurskog filma od producentske kuće Working Title izveštava Empire. U filmu će glavne uloge ostvariti zvezde iz "Shauna" - Pegg i Nick Frost, igraće dvojicu nekompatibilnih policajaca koji ipak moraju da se ujedine kako bi rešili slučaj. Iako ne žele da odaju zaplet, kažu da su pisanje Shane Blacka i "Dirty Harry" serija bili snažan uticaj. Pegg je lično objasnio zašto se toliko dugo čekalo na odobrenje - "Juče smo dobili zeleno svetlo. Zvuči kao da će se raditi u martu, što je jako uzbudljivo. Pisali smo ga gotovo cele godine! Radili smo jako naporno. To je jako složen scenario. Čini mi se da je prva verzija imala oko 235 strana jer smo mislili da u njoj idemo do kraja, ispovraćamo sve na papir i vidimo šta će ispasti. Potom smo skratili oko sto strana ali to je ona vrsta filma gde kad nešto započneš to se posle naplati u raspletu i sve te nedoumice moraš da rešiš. Bio je znatno intenzivniji proces pisanja od Shauna. Shaun se na neki način napisao sam od sebe, a ovo je zaista iziskivalo dosta mozganja. Bilo je izuzetno zabavno i postići takav nivo komedije i logike u tekstu. Ponekad bi sedeli i durili se, razmišljajući o tome da pišemo komediju! Mućkali smo glavom i plakali, ubeđen sam da smo napisali bolji scenario od Shaun Of The Dead, i zato držite nam palčeve."
